Vintage 1998 Fausto Coppi Road Bike - Fully Restored (Used)

Fausto Coppi road bicycle. Manufactured in 1998 in Italy by Masciaghi in Basiano, Italy. Purchased in 1999 from Bicicletta in Vancouver, Canada. Classic road racing bike geometry: aluminum frame, upright fast responsive ride. Original owner.

Bike was completely restored in 2021 and has not been ridden since it’s restoration. The frame was stripped and repainted its original pearl white by Toxik Designs in Richmond BC, a leading bike frame painter in Western North America. All parts were cleaned, and worn-out parts replaced with new Campagnolo parts circa 1998 to 2002. The bike was re-assembled and tuned by Obsession Bikes in North Vancouver, BC. All receipts from restoration available.

Fausto Coppi was the greatest all-around cyclist of the 1940s and early 1950s. He won the Giro D’Italia 5 times, the Tour de France twice and was World Champion in 1953. After retirement he started building racing bikes. In 1994 F. LLI Masciaghi acquired the rights to manufacture Fausto Coppi bikes and sponsored a professional racing team.
