Surly Pugsley Custom Build - Large (Used)

This is a further customized special edition Surly Special Ops. To my knowledge, only 500 of these bikes were ever created. Perfect for winter bikepacking, winter commuting, or fat biking. Just completed a meticulous rebuild and tune! It had not been ridden since overhaul.

Bike is in great used shape with typical scuffs/scratches from light use.

• All bearings replaced or serviced - as nee condition

• Complete cleaning and greasing of every mounting point

• New shifter cables and full tune of breaks and shifters

• Drive train has limited use, purchased new for my gfs summer bike but gearing wasnt suitable and removed less than a summer

• Silver Cane Creek 40 headset, silver Race Face bottom bracket, Shimano SLX hydro brakes, chrome Rolling Darryl rims, Surly Nate tan wall tires were all upgrades on the Special Ops

• New Shimano Deore 1x11 wide range rear derailleur and shifter

• 11-50 wide range sunrace cassette and 11 speed chain

• Surly stainless narrow wide chainring and bash guard

• PAUL components chrome seat clamp

• Nitto bull moose handlebars imported from Japan

• Will come with Axiom fat bike fenders and new partial frame bag not show in photos

New comparable Surly Wednesday/Pugsley go for $2650 for base model with low spec components.

This was going to be lovingly used but I dont have the time with a busy work schedule. This is a great do it all bicycle that will go forever.  Happy to answer any questions!

Note: does not come with brooks seat or pedals. I will include originals that came with the bike which are in like new condition. Bags and cages show as bikepacking setup and are taken from my summer bike for reference only.
