Never heard of Kuips? Spiuk (helmets, shoes, glasses) wanted to have a line of frames in the mid-2000s, so bought some off the shelf frames (full carbon, full alu, blended, cyclo) from Taiwan (so pretty much the same as Trek, Specialized, etc) and have their paint and logos slapped on them. Aside from our team bikes, I have seen exactly 2 of them in the wild, both in Spain (so you arent likely to be riding a twin on the weekend putz).

Frame is a beautiful candy apple red (my camera makes it look orangy red), carbon rear is clearcoated carbon. Frame finish is excellent, ride quality is great (forgiving veritcal ride with excellent lateral stiffness). Good descender with great sprinting characteristics. Frame has no scratches except a single chip on the headset race (from new) see pic, havent bothered to get the right nail polish to match. Frame fits 58 to 6, square geometry (so 55 seat tube, 55 top tube). Bike was an extra team frame (wasnt built until we switched to Lapierre the following year) and has under 1000km, spent most of its life on my office wall, aside from the occasional rotation in the fancy bike pool.

Bike is located in Vernon, but I am in Calgary and Vancouver every month, if anyone wanted to give it a test spin.
