Strong and surprisingly lightweight double-butter chromoly tubing makes for a very smooth and comfortable ride, whether loaded or not — the 1000 is known for its excellent ride characteristics while unloaded and loaded, which means it’s the perfect bike for a variety of uses.

This build includes a full Shimano Ultegra 6500 18-speed groupset, Sakae cockpit, Thomson seatpost, Ritchey Pro wheels, and Soma’s excellent tubeless-ready Supple Vitesse EX 38mm tires. Such a nice ride!
