2023 Summer fat wheels for sale. (Used)

Lots of people have found great uses for their fatbikes in the non-snow months. Most have realized that the wheels and tires that work so well to float over snow are sub-optimal for dirt, however.

In years past the most popular fatbike conversion wheelsets Ive sold have been 29+: That is, 29 wheels with 2.8 or 3 tires. I ride this size roughly half of every year.

But sometimes the tall, skinny 29+ setup is too harsh, or too tall for tight places, or not quite floaty enough. And the winter wheels are still massive overkill.

For those times I run these summer fat wheels: 27.5 x 4 tires on 45mm rims.

This exact wheelset has been my best-seller all of this spring, quite to my surprise.

They start with DT Swiss 350 fatbike hubs in 150/197. I lace them to Pub carbon rims using DT Swiss Competition butted spokes and DT Prolock nips. All black.

I finish them with Whisky tape, your preferred freehub config, and your choice of valve color.
