Berds new HAWK-series wheels are the product of a partnership between Berd, We Are One Composites, and Industry Nine to deliver a wheelset made entirely in North America. We Are One is located in Kamloops British Columbia, Canada, Berd is located in Hopkins, MN, and Industry Nine Hydra Hubs are made in Asheville, NC.

Light enough for XC racing but tough enough for gnarly trail rips and enduro runs, HAWK wheels combine lightweight and vibration damping Berd spokes with 27mm (HAWK27) or 30mm (HAWK30) internal carbon rims and Industry Nine hubs.

The HAWK rims are only 18 mm deep. This unique design yields engineered radial compliance and high lateral stiffness. The combination of vibration damping Berd spokes and our new radial compliant rim means more speed over rough terrain and less rider fatigue. With a wide 3.75 mm rim lip, Berds new rims spread out tire/rim impacts across a larger surface area to prevent tire and rim damage during acute impacts.

The HAWK wheels are built around black Industry Nine Hydra Centerlock hubs, delivering almost instantaneous engagement and long-term reliability, along with remarkably low weight.
