2022 Trek Remedy 9.8 (LG) Carbon Full Suspension (Used)

This is the top-of-the-line Remedy. Trek has four top-tier full suspension mountain bikes: Top Fuel, Fuel EX, Remedy and Slash. The Remedy is the one for you if you want the best suspension and capability of running either more narrow 29 inch tires or wider 27.5 inch tires. It’s also the lightest of the group.

I can/will ship to the lower 48 states if you’re willing to pay shipping costs. The bike is located north of Dayton, OH.

Pricing:

I paid $6500 after taxes for this brand new from the Trek dealer in Dublin, Columbus, OH in January 2022. Since then, to make room for the 2023 models, they decreased the price to $5750. With that in mind, I am pricing this at $4750, which just so happens to also be the Bicycle Blue Book value. It is lightly used. I only biked at local trails every other weekend or so last summer and fall so I would estimate between 50 and 75 miles.

Condition:

It has some minor scratches where you would anticipate them to be and I have not had a single issue with it. I lubed the chain once a month during the summer and fall. It’s been stored in my garage when not in use.

-New taller bar stem

• Fully carbon (handlebars, rims and frame) and is very light

• Full Fox suspension

• Mino Link High and Low suspension setup

• Tubeless tire setup (new sealant October 2022)

• Accomodates 29-inch tires up to 2.4 inches wide and 27.5-inch tires up to 2.8 inches wide

• I currently have 27.5 by 2.8 on it. These actually have a 29 inch diameter so it’s the best of both worlds

• Upgraded Bontrager grips

• Electric blue bottle holder and strap-on storage bag is included

• No pedals are included

• Manual portable air compressor is available and front mudguard is included

I am selling this literally because only a hardtail will fit on the ladder bike rack of my RV and we are planning an extended trip across the US this summer.
