2022 Stumpjumper S2 Custom (Used)

Custom bike I personally built from the Frame up.

Overall a great bike - super snappy on the ups and downs. Extra 10mm of travel on the fork has made this bike a weapon. It’s quick on the ups, but more travel on the front has made it more fun on the downs. Best bike I’ve owned! I do all the maintenance myself, as a former mechanic. I just serviced the fork middle of the season, rear shock has low riding time on it, hubs have been maintained regularly. Only had to bleed the brakes once in the several years I have had them (only once when I moved them from my old bike onto this one). I do have a spare set of Hayes pads - I was going to throw some new rotors on, so I just have these sitting till I do that.

Fork is also from the old bike, but I updated the air spring since I moved it onto this bike. Has the previous damper of course, but it still feels supple and smooth and I just rebuilt it a month ago. I always add SRAM butter to my stanchions on the shock, fork, and dropper every few rides to keep seals in top condition.

Wheels are from the old bike as well. They have been bomb proof. I had to replace one spoke on the rear once, but other than that they have been perfect.

Overall a top end bike with the components. Dropper post is relatively entry level, but it’s been so problem free that I just never felt inclined to swap it for something nicer.
