Description:
I used this bike to coach NICA for 2 seasons so mostly it was on XC trails with minor technical sections. It hasnt seen many miles, in fact I think Ive only charged the AXS battery maybe 3 or 4 times total. I did change the shifter battery recently so it has plenty of life in it. The chain is the original and it still reads new on a Park Tool chain wear tool.
This bike was maintained by a pro mechanic. A good friend, and father of another NICA rider, built this and did the minor maintenance that it has needed so far. Everything is flawless for example, wheels are true, brakes are perfectly adjusted, dropper runs perfectly, etc.
27.2 lbs tubeless, without pedals. Insane how light these trail bikes are.
Upgrades:
Deity Copperhead 50mm stem. I have the stock 35mm stem and would be happy to swap it out if youd prefer. I put this slightly longer stem on to get just a bit more room in the cockpit and it made a huge difference for me. The bike just started to flow like its supposed to.
Deity Skywire 15mm rise. Amazing bars, way better than the stock carbon bars from Spech.
Deity Lockjaw grips
Muc-off tubeless valves, again way better than stock.

SRAM crank arm boots - they were put on before the first ride and so the crank arms have zero strikes or even scratches. Note that in the pictures they are removed because I wanted you to see the cranks are perfect but they are in the picture with the extra gear. Note that in the pictures it appears that the crank arms might have some scratches but if you look closely you can see that its the rather large SRAM Eagle stickers that cover most of the crank arms which are peeling away from the sides. There are no dings or scratches on the crank arms!
- These upgrades were about feel and comfort and all of them made a difference. The bike was already state of the art but a few tweaks and now its amazing.
You will notice that the front brake has some scratches. It is mechanically flawless, only cosmetic damage. There is also cosmetic scratches on the derailleur. It is bulletproof and is flawless in performance. Shifting is perfect.
For the Z cage and tool, I never did put it on the SWAT door as I always had a pack on when riding this bike. But youll see it is included in the pictures. Also shown is the SWAT storage bag that inserts into the frame. It holds all your repair gear easily so no bags hanging off the bike. You can also get a very thin vest or rain jacket into the frame.
Of course as pictured, the AXS charger, battery covers, manuals and extras that came with the bike, along with the already mentioned Z cage with tool, and SWAT storage bag are all included.
Im selling because I dont ride this much and Im done with NICA now that my daughter has graduated. I jump on my Epic EVO 9 out of every 10 rides. This bike is the perfect trail bike and if my trails were more technical, or I wasnt racing anymore myself, this would be the bike of choice for me. Even with these facts Ill admit that it is a tough decision to sell…its that good!
