Description:
This Spanish made frame is artfully crafted in the Canary Islands and the stunning paint job turns heads on the trail! The full send high-quality steel frame is aggressively equipped with custom components, including carbon wheels, and is ready to shred any trail on the front range. The frame is designed for a 160 mm travel fork paired with 29er wheels for an unmatched Enduro Style hardtail with a slack 64-degree head angle.
-Drivetrain – Complete Shimano XT Drive Terrain with 170 mm crank arms, a fresh Shimano optislick shifter cable and a MRP chain guide and bash guard to protect the 32 tooth chain ring and keep the chain from dropping.
-Fork – Freshly rebuilt RockShox 160 mm Lyric RTC3, with MRP ramp control (changes spring rate one click at a time), high-speed and low-speed compression adjustments, and high-speed rebound adjustment.
-Wheels – Bontrager Line Elite (30 mm) carbon hoops and high engagement hub (108 points of hub engagement / 3 degrees). The carbon wheels paired with the steel frame makes the bike track the trail and corner unlike any other hardtail.
-Tires and inserts – A large volume Maxxis Minon DHF 29x3.0 front tire and rear Specialized Butcher 29x2.6 provides the hardtail with a bit more cush in the chunk. Complete with Huck Norris tire inserts to protect the carbon hoops and eliminate pinch flats. I have aired the front tire down to as low as 15 psi and the rear as low as 18 psi to shred snowpack in the winter, making this bike truly 4-season compatible (hardtail season never ends).
-Brakes – Shimano SLX 4 piston with 203 mm rotor in front and 180 mm rotor in rear for maximum braking on the steeps. Brakes have been recently bled.
-Dropper – 170 mm PNW paired with a Bontrager saddle with super light austenite rails.
-Bars, grips, stem and headset – Carbon Bontrager Line Pro OCLV paired with fresh Bontrager XR Trail Pro lock-on grips. Bontrager 0 degree rise 50 mm stem with OneUp EDC light steer tube tools so you are never without a toolbox on the trail and a reliable Cane Creek 40 headset that will last a lifetime.
