Trek has been producing the Fuel EX model for some time now, and this model is the result of years of real-time-use-feedback and rider evolution. In a partnership with Fox and Penske (think F1 racing), Trek developed the RE:aktiv and as it turns out it, its not a gimmik. The efficiency of this shock really makes it stand out as an exceptional option for any trail youre tackling. Stiff when climbing while still offering small bump compliance, then full open to absorb large impacts as they happen with a fast, adjustable response time.

SLX is Shimanos best Performance-to-Price groupset and reliable as they come, including the 11sp grouppo. The RockShox Pike fork is significant upgrade from what ships stock with a comparable 9.7.
