2021 Surly Wednesday 29+ bikepacking build (Used)

This was a frame build up in 2021 when I thought I was going to try some long trips; then I got a new job and the trips never happened. So, I have this awesome bike that only gets used for rides on the boardwalk.

This is a medium “Blue Monday” steel-is-real Wednesday kinda-fat frame; I put frame protection under the bags so the frame is like new with VERY low miles (however, there’s a scratch on the top tube- see pic). The wheels are Fyxation Blackhawk x Duroc SD42 29+ with Teravail Coronado 29 x 2.80 tires setup tubeless with Orange Endurance sealant. The headset and bottom bracket are Hope (the blue on blue looks pretty cool). The dropper is a 120mm PNW Loam Suspension post with a Loam remote lever. The saddle is Selle Anatomica (really comfortable, very un-Brooks-like). The handlebars are Tumbleweed Persuader and grips are Ergon GA3. Cargo storage via a Tumbleweed T-Rack in the rear and a Salsa EXP Series Anything Cradle Top Load kit (never used- the 2 bags and straps are still in the box). The cranks are SRAM GX 170mm and currently setup singlespeed with a Boone Titanium 15t cog and a Molten Speed Wax Wipperman Connex gold chain but you can have the 11spd GX shifter and cassette. The brakes are Shimano MT401. Ritchie Comp 30D stem. Pedals aren’t normally included but these are DMR Vault V2 Lacon and were pretty expensive- they are negotiable if you want them. Custom Rogue Panda top tube and frame bags are like new and fit perfect, as they were made for this frame.

This has been sitting unused for months so I’ve decided to let it go. It was not a budget build, so someone is going to get a nice ride. Pickup in Rockaway Beach (11693), or shipping on your dime. No trades.
