2021 Surly Karate Monkey 29er Large (Used)

I dont have much of a history of selling on here but I have purchased. Im happy to speak on the phone or facetime where I can prove who I am and that I have the bike for your peace of mind

Here we have my Large Karate Monkey in Porta-Potty Blue. This frame came out in 2019(current gen) but was built in 2021. Rode only local XC farm trails. Only wear showing is pretty much cable rub. Most upgrades done 2 months ago.

I converted it to 29” wheels and it makes the bike waaaayyyy better. Brand new 29x2.6 maxxis DHF and DHR tires with only 2 rides on them. Two Monkey Nut v3 dropouts on both sides of the rear axle(Surly only calls for 1 but 2 is more solid.)

The RockShox Gold RL 35 150mm fork is brand new and purchased in March. Rode rigid before that. Comes with original rigid fork.

Dropper seat post is brand new and used for 3 rides. It’s a PNW Loam 170mm adjustable dropper and a Wolftooth remote.

Saddle is a brand new Brooks C17 Saddle that is 3 rides old.

Handle bars are brand new chromag 50mm riser bars. Grips are brand new Lizard skins.

Drivetrain and brakes are original. SRAM NX 1x11 with SRAM brakes. I upgraded the rear brake rotor to 180mm for better and more effortless braking.

This bike is the greatest hardtail I’ve ever owned. Sad to see it go but I need to put funds towards a dual suspension bike since I’ll be doing more of that style of riding.
