2021 Rocky Mountain Instinct Carbon 30 Medium (Used)

This is our beautiful 2021 Rocky Mountain Instinct Carbon 30, in a size medium. The bike was redesigned for the 2021 model year, making its debut under Jesse Melamed on the EWS courses in the Altitude configuration and on this sites YouTube page in both configurations. As we know, Jesse has had almost nothin but success on this chassis, as its a masterpiece of engineering. The frame is made of Rockys latest SmoothWall Carbon layup and is extraordinarily slim, lightweight, and stiff. The tube-in-tube cable routing design makes shift housing and brake line swaps a much easier and faster process, as well as keeping them cables quiet! Several of our employees own versions of the Instinct/Altitude platform, and common praises are of how quiet this bike is on the trail, and how well it handles corners. Of course, it checks the desired boxes of efficiency and downhill capability too. The frame geometry is adjustable on the trail side and can be put into 18 different positions for fine tuning, these adjustments include wheelbase, slackening or steepening everything, and suspension leverage ratios. At the service counter side, and with the purchase of different suspension, this bicycle has three rear wheel travel options, 140mm, 148mm, and 160mm. Fork travel clearance ranges from 140mm to 180mm. Currently, the bike sits with 140mm rear travel, and 150mm front travel. A mullet setup can be set up as well, where the rear wheel is 27.5 and the front wheel is 29.
