2021 Merida Reacto 5000 Bahrain McLaren (Used)

I’m looking to trade local to New England for another road bike. I’m only interested in disc brake road bikes equal to size 56cm. I’m curious to see what’s out there.

I really like this bike it’s very aero, stable, and surprisingly comfortable, easily the fastest bike I’ve owned. But I’m also curious about cool trades. I’m located in Boston, MA.

This bike can be traded without the Wheelset and saddle if you prefer. It has never been dropped or abused and is in really good condition.

Bike info:

2021 Merida Reacto 5000 with Bahrain McLaren Team paint. I bought it new last summer (2022).

Full Ultegra mechanical 2x11 with hydraulic disc brakes.

Specialized Power saddle

Wheelset is carbon Mercury A50 with Shimano freehub.

Size is Medium but fits me like the 56cm I’m used to riding due to the geometry (I’m 6’).I was able to try out different sizes while in Barcelona. This model runs a little big.

Although it looks just like it, it’s not the Reacto 9000 that Bahrain races on the world tour, the CF3 carbon layup this bike comes with is 1 step below the CF5. And the headset and cockpit are FSA ACR.

These bikes aren’t sold in the United States because of an agreement Merida has with Specialized. They own 49% of Specialized and do their(Specialized) manufacturing in Taiwan. Therefore you won’t see many out and about on the road. And for better or worse it gets a lot of attention.
