2020 Transition Scout Custom Build (Used)

Love this bike and do not really want to see it go but I have gotten more into racing and a 29er seems to better fit my riding now. Super playful bike, corners great and can also charge pretty hard for what Transition calls a trail bike but I would say this bike charges harder than most other 27.5 trail bikes thanks to Transitions Speed Balanced Geometry and a few of the upgrades I have added to it.

Rockshox Zeb 160 mm fork

Rear shock:

Rockshox Super Deluxe with Megneg. Over stroked to 62.5 mm from stock 57.5 mm which gives the bike 150 mm rear travel instead of 140 mm

Front Wheel

Reserve Carbon Wheel laced to a DT Swiss 350 hub

Rear Wheel:

Reserve Carbon Wheel laced to a Onyx Classic Hub (instant clutch engagement)

Dropper Post:

Fox Transfer Dropper post 175 mm of travel

Shimano Deore 12 speed rear derailleur

The Good:

New tires have put on in July 2023

fork installed spring of 2023

The rear shock serviced spring 2023

Frame bearings replaced august 2023

brakes bled recently

new brake pads august 2023

The bad:

some paint chips but all cosmetic

saddle creaks a little bit

dropper lever gets stuck down and may need to be replaced, dropper also may need a service too

pedals, bottle cage, and bottle not included

location is in Norwell MA until August 26th then it will be in Burlington VT
