2020 Transition Scout Carbon XL Frameset (Used)

2020 Transition Scout, Carbon, XL, mid-night blue color, different shock options

Currently a unicorn frame, being both the modern scout design, but in carbon and being a size XL, neither of which are currently available from Transition (the carbon XL has been out of stock for almost 1 year). Brand new these framesets are $4600 CAD
Frame had Ridewrap installed when brand new as shown in the pictures. Most of the “marks” on it are just in Ridewrap with the paint undamaged below it; I can remove the Ridewrap and the “Rough AF” sticker on the Frame if the buyer requests.
Frame is true, no cracks, no bends, and bearings are in good shape.
2020 Float X2 Performance Elite shock is the prior generation model, so free of the problems found in the 2021-2022 versions. I’ve had no problems with this shock that has been serviced by Fox Canada in Burnaby every 50 hours, and is unridden since its last service. Shock is currently at 62.5mm stroke yielding 150mm of travel, but stroke can be modified very easily to yield anywhere from 140 to 155mm of travel.
optional: I could switch out the 2020 Float X2 shock for a 2023 Float X performance elite (not an X2) at the buyers request
Bike comes with new spare set of chainstays.
Note on Forks. I’ve run a 27.5 150mm fork, a 27.5 170mm fork, and a 29 150mm fork as mullet, all of which were great – you can build this up as a smaller travel very poppy play bike or as a mini-enduro / jump / park bike.
Only selling the frame b/c I have too many bikes due to my kids getting into the sport.
