2020 Transition Scout Carbon XL Custom with some new parts (Used)

Current generation Transition Scout. The Size XL in Carbon has been out of stock for a long time, so a unicorn at the moment.

• Frame is true, no cracks, bearings are running fine, only minor scuffs

• Fox 38 170mm, 27.5 travel fork, with a brand-new GRIP damper, and unridden since its last lower leg service.

• FOX Float X2 performance elite shock, set at 62.5mm stroke (150mm travel). Shocks stroke can be modified on this shock to yield anywhere in the 140-155mm of travel range. Shock has been serviced regularly by Fox in Burnaby and not ridden since its last tune, and is from the reliable generation of X2s

• DT Swiss wheels, tubeless with Maxxis tires. Rear wheel and tire are new never ridden.

• SRAM eagle drivetrain with brand new E13 cassette

• Brand-new Magura M5 four piston brakes. 203mm Shimano rotors

• Ridewrap projection film was installed when new. I’ve left the wrap on for selling assuming most buyers would value a wrapped bike.

• Bike comes with new spare set of chainstays.

• Option: at buyer’s request, can switch out the current Float X2 shock for a 2023 Fox Float X Performance Elite shock (not an X2) which is also tuned for the Scout

• Option: Ive also listed, separately, this as a frameset only

This is very playful bike, which is super capable on the descends and climbs really well. Only selling due to my garage being filled up with my children’s bikes.
