2020 Surly Ogre (fully custom, premium) (Used)

Selling my beautiful totally custom, premium Surly Ogre.

This is the newer (2020) frame geometry. Custom painted (looks orange in some lights, and pinkish-orange in others); premium build.

I purchased this frame and built this bike last year after my 2013 Surly Ogre frame failed after 30,000+ miles. However, I’m getting it welded and rebuilding with most of its original parts, so the fancier Ogre has gotta go.

I rode this bike sparingly since building it up. The wheels have more mileage than the rest of the bike, but still very early in their lifespan.

Tires currently have tubes in them, but I can set up tubeless if buyer would like. I’d also be willing to throw on some very nice Rene Herse Oracle Ridge tires (700x48) at the right price.

This purchase will also include a 36t orange oval chainring, a spare seatpost (the Thompson post is cut short from someone else’s project), a conversion axle to make the rear wheel thru-axle (which the Hunt is already compatible with), a Surly head badge, and a set of profile design bar ends, should you wish to go full alt-bar with this bike.
