2020 Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Carbon (Used)

Excellent condition. Most components are new or like-new. The only signs of use are on the Fox 36 Performance fork CSU and the ride-wrap frame protection. If you look around the seatstays and chainstays, youll see I added some clear ShoeGoo frame protection. This stuff weighs next to nothing and does an awesome job at keeping rock chips off the clear coat. Its easy to remove if you just peel it off and it pulls off in one piece, one section at a time. In saying that, theres no paint damage or carbon frame damage on the bike. Its in excellent condition and has spent the last two-years in the mid-west and about 98% of the time its been sitting cleaned-up and ready to sell.

Components:

2020 Fox 36 Performance at 150mm with fresh lowers and new air shaft. 44mm offset. Quick-release axle. Will also include a 140mm air shaft for the fork to match the 190x45mm shock yoke option. That setup will tighten up the ride and response significantly. Fork has new Fox 36 stealth black decals.

New 2022 Marzocchi Bomber rear shock. The aftermarket Cascade Components shock link certainly helps add pop and mid-stroke support; which means it pedals fast and is a naturally quick riding bike.

Cascade Components Shock Link and stock link. Also including the short travel shock yoke to accept 190mm length metric shocks. Makes for quite a quick whip, I assure you.

Extra frame hardware for rear shock, including front shock bolt and rear. Plus, an extra flip chip kit too.

Shimano SLX 12spd shifter and derailleur. Like-new Shimano 12-spd Deore 10-51t cassette.

Shimano XT 4-piston brakes. Sram Centerline 200mm rotors.

Shimano XT 12-spd crankset with 32t chainring.

2021 DT Swiss M1900 wheelset. Like-new. Including a Sram XD freehub body for the rear wheel.

Bontrager Team XR4 2.6 front tire setup tubeless: like-new. Bontrager Team SE4 2.4 rear tire setup tubeless: at 80%. ( Not pictured.) Can exchange for the Kenda tires if youre interested. For an additional $50, I can setup a like-new DHR/DHF tanwall tubeless tire combo that would look awesome!

Burgtec 31.8mm handlebar w/ 30mm rise at 800mm with 50mm Burgtec stem.

34.9mm 150mm Manic dropper post. Low-hours. ** The dropper lever works with OneUp, Fox, and BikeYoke style dropper posts. Can upgrade to like-new Bike Yoke Revive 185mm dropper for $250 and both dropper post will be included.

Bike Overview:

Its kind of a BIG medium frame. This was the 27.5 EVO originally with way too low of a BB height to ride with 165mm cranks. Also, please note, the 2020 EVO is a different S sizing and also a completely different bike than the 2021-2023 EVO. Additionally, the 2 27.5 models were slightly bigger than than the 2 29er models. Thats why I added 29er wheels and a 29er fork to the 27.5 model as it made it actually possible to be ridden on singletrack trails with 170mm cranks. I owned the 2020 29er S3 EVO for over a year and broke pedals with all the pedal strikes. Its actually the only bike Ive ever ridden to do so out of about 75 mtbs. Likewise, its a great bike and clearly worthy of the broken pedals.

Anyway, the 27.5 2020 EVO is essentially the only 2020 EVO that could be trail ridden as theres still a substantial 35-40mm BB drop thats about the same as the 2021-2023 29er. Plus, theres room for 29x2.6 tires on this 2020. In my opinion, the 27.5 is the only 2020 EVO worth buying if youre looking to ride singletrack trails with Enduro/all mountain riding. The chainstays are 438mm in the high BB and 440mm in the low BB. Its the the same as the 29er, if youre wondering why the 29er wheelset combination on the 27.5 is the way to go.

The frame sticker says S2. For a frame reach to be 465mm is generally considered to be a BIG medium. The toptube is 615mm; again, right on the cusp of being a size large. This S2 is about a half-size bigger than the S2 29er and I would definitely say its right in the middle of the S2 and S3 29er in terms of fit. Thats why I sized down from the S3 29. By the way, there was only an S2 and S3 size in 2020.

The rear shock link is brand new and the pivots are all buttery-smooth. This bike is ready to ride. No service needed. The clear coat is totally see-through and the bike is just amazing in sun light. Its stunning if you ever set it up with a complete Fox Factory suspension.

Anyway, its a light bike comparatively. You simply wont find a lighter trail/Enduro carbon frame unless its the 2018 -2022 Scott Genius w/ an angleset or the Scott Ransom. Thats literally it. These are 6-pound frames with the rear shock!
