Designed to be multiple bikes in one, the Fugitive can be paired with a 185x50, 185x52.5, or 185x55 shock to provide 120, 127, or 135mm of rear travel respectively. Out front the owner can choose to run a 140mm or 150mm fork to provide two unique ride experiences. The 185x55 shock that provides 135mm of rear wheel travel is what gives the bike its LT or long travel moniker. In addition to all these suspension options, the frame also has two mounting positions for the rear shock that alter the head angle and bottom bracket height. The differences in geometry are noted in the figures below. This shock unique mount as well as the front and rear suspension travel options gives the owner several versions of the Fugitive, each with its own unique character.

Sporting 135mm out back thats paired with a 150mm-travel fork the Canadian brands first 29er is intended to be a sturdy, all around package that puts reliability above competing for lightest-in-class bragging rights.

With the ability to do all sorts of things quite well, and be configured how you see fit, the Fugitive is a difficult bike to categorize. Part sturdy all-mountain machine, part nimble down-country rig, its a bike for someone who doesnt think twice about that all-day epic that covers some serious terrain. Larger, heavier riders, or anyone thats hard on their gear should put it on their short-list, too.
