2020 All City Thunderdome Custom-Build Fixed Gear, Size 58 (Used)

The short story: read the title for bike and size. FIXED GEAR. No freewheel threads on the hub. Very shiny. Custom build and fancy parts, hence the price. It was $3000 plus $350 build labor new. New wheel bearings and chain. Rarely skidded on the tire. Bike is in near mint condition. All of the build details are below!

Long story: This was a bike that gave me something to do during the pandemic. Unfortunately, due to 2 broken shoulder injuries (from mountain biking), I didn’t ride it as much as I would have liked. The bike has sat idle for nearly a year now and my cycling life is going a different direction, so I’m selling this to simplify. The bike has 1038 miles on it. It got a new chain at about 940 miles when the stretch measured .75 and all 4 hub bearings were replaced at that time as well. Everything was professionally assembled, installed, and maintained by a career mechanic at the LBS. This bike was my BABY when I rode it regularly, and I’ll gladly answer any questions about it and its history. Last but not least, the price: $1500 OBO. Yes. The cost of the sum of its parts was a hair under $3200 when it was built, that doesn’t include the custom build labor and wheel build labor, which was north of $350, SO. $1500 it is, lowball offers will not be entertained.

The bike comes with some extra bits like a set of wrapped handlebars, a chain, chainring and cog, and some flat pedals with straps.

-Hand-built wheels: H Plus Son TB14 rims, All City New Sheriff SL hubs (fixed/fixed flip-flop), Pillar Rainbow Bladed spokes, perfectly true and never damaged.

Conti Gator Hardshell tires (also comes with a set of Conti GP 5000’s)

-Whisky No. 7 6F Handlebars, also comes with a set of Ritchey Neo Classic bars. Both 44 cm. Both professionally wrapped with Supacaz tape.

-Whisky 120mm stem

-Paul Components polished brake lever, Shimano Ultegra front brake

-Thompson Masterpiece seatpost

-Ergon road saddle, Carbon fiber rails

-All City 612 crankset 165mm cranks

-All City 612 chainring 48 tooth, also comes with a 46

-All City 17 tooth stainless cog, also comes with a Surly 19 tooth cog

-ACS crossfire chain with only 100 miles on it (comes with a spare chain, new in box)

-MKS Track Supreme pedals, All City cages with new leather straps. (Used twice, I ended up using my road bike pedals for most riding)
