2019 Zerode Taniwha XL Gearbox bike (Used)

Up for sale is my 19’ Zerode Taniwha 27.5” 160/160mm XL Pinion Gearbox bike.

I absolutely love this bike. I picked up a Cavaliere Anakin V2 with the effigear gearbox and I want to pick up an e-bike as well, and so unfortunately this bike has to go as the wife says Im only allowed to have two mountain bikes in the garage at one time. Im open for trade (and I can add cash) for an e-bike, but you would need to be local.

This bike was over 10K when new

Suspension on this is unreal, unfazed by chunk and just keeps stability through anything. With the Onyx hubs and straight chain line, ride is the same in all gears and bike is truly silent, all you hear is tire to ground contact. With front and rear coil and the gearbox, there is very little maintenance to do on this bike, and the weather doesnt affect the performance.

Frame is an XL and reach is 475mm, I’m 6’1” and it fits me great. I’m always on the border between a L and XL

Fork - Rockshox Pike, converted to coil with the TF Tuned system. 3 springs come with the fork.

Dampener is an Avalanche Open Bath Cartridge with ABS Hydraulic bottom out add-on (600$ in Avy mods and 125$ in the Coil Conversion)

Shock - currently running the Marzocchi Bomber CR coil with a 500 lbs to 610 lbs progressive spring.

It also comes with a RS Monach Plus RC3 with full Avalanche SSD mods. 450$ Base shock + 250$ Avy mods if you like an air shock.
