2018 VYNL CX Gravel bike (Used)

Custom built VYNL CX aluminum gravel bike, adorned with new and used parts, making for a very unique gravel flat bar bike. Also includes limited edition GRX silver groupset.

The frame is 2018 but is new. I got this frame a few months ago from a guy in San Francisco who was friends with Sean Coffey (original VYNL owner/builder). Sean had given the frame to him for some web design work, but he never built it up and it just sat in his garage.

Unless noted, all the parts are new:

• 57cm VYNL CX aluminum disc (IS mount) frame

• Enve carbon gravel fork (Flat mount)

• Chris King 24 BSA Bottom Bracket (Mango)

• Fulcrum 700c Racing 900 Centerlock wheelset with Fillmore valves

• Specialized Pathfinder 38c tires (setup as tubeless, with Stans sealant and DT Swiss tape)

• Shimano GRX LTD (polished finish instead of black; very cool and retro!) flat bar gruppo, consisting of:

  • GRX 172.5 cranks with 40T chainring

  • GRX Long cage Rear Derailleur with GRX 11sp shifter

• Shimano DuraAce SM-RT900-S 160mm Centerlock rotors F&R (lightly used, 1.78mm thick)

• XT 11-40 cassette

• Enve 27.2 carbon seatpost with 20mm offset

• Specialized Power Elaston 155mm saddle (slightly used)

• Specialized carbon flatbars 780mm (used)

• Specialized 90mm/12º ProSet stem (have other lengths if desired)

• Deity grips

I have ridden this bike twice in the last week after bulilding it up; only about 30 miles on the non-used parts listed above.

She’s fast af. Rides very well, the aluminum feels oh so nice. This is when VYNL frames were made by Frank The Welder (Google him!).
