2018 Trek Team Factory Racing Session 9.9 CF size LARGE (Used)

Im selling my Ferrari monster truck because my life has changed. Im 53 and cant get to the bike parks like I use to. Im selling my tricked out Large 2018 Trek Session 9.9 CF 29er that uses carbon fiber for both the main frame and the A-arm rear. The carbon fiber is clear-coated.

• Fox40 forks, customized by Avalanche Racing, but Im including the original right side internals, as well as an extra set of wipers for the next service, and 1.5 quarts of Spectro Golden Fork Cartridge Fluid

• Fox X2 air shock, but included is the full Avalanche Racing rear custom coil shock, as well as an extra Fox coil too

• Saint Zee brakes (203mm front and rear) and pads for the best stopping power the market has to offer, extra set of brake pads is included

• Chris King hubs front and rear (~$500 each)

• Bash guard under chain and over-keeper above the chain

• Chromag seat

• Stamp 7 steel spindle pedals (far stronger & better than titanium spindle pedals, which snapped on me (titanium) upon landing a jump)

This Session is a lightweight and loves big-features. I used to progress with jumping, drops, kickers, on/offs, cornering & speed skills. It allowed me to progress from 1-2 foot jumps & drops to 8 foot and larger features. I also used it to grow my YouTube channel (MTB Dream - https://www.youtube.com/@mtbdream3053/videos) from a few hundred views to ~72K views. The bulk of my videos over the years were done while riding the Session. You can see my progression in the most recent video on my channel.

The bike is in excellent condition. The majority of the pivot bearings (8-10 of them) were replaced with fresh bearings before my last ride at Mountain Creek in NJ. It hasnt been ridden since then. One of the photos shows that receipt, over $800 worth of fresh bearings and parts replaced on the bike. The bike has always been stored inside my business, which never drops below 60°F in the winter and never above 75° in the summer.

This is a 29er that currently has an Avalanche fork installed, which is a custom Fox40. The left arm of the fork is air but is only used for progression (softening at the end of the stroke). The air side was just serviced because the left Kashima stanchion needed replaced due to a scratch. An extra set of wipers is included with the bike. The right side fork has a coil and is the main suspension for the fork.

The bike currently has a Fox X2 air shock installed, but Im including an Avalanche coil shock too. The X2 air shock was just serviced before the last ride as well. Im including the full Avalanche coil shock, as well as an additional coil for the rear as well. Buyer will receive a lot of extras, shown in the photos. One of the numerous extras is a custom-made 100% carbon fiber front mud guard, designed & produced in-house by my aerospace company.

The pedals are also barely used, with a steel spindle, not titanium. Steel is stronger. One of the previous titanium pedals snapped after landing the on/off on Salvation at Creek. Dont buy titanium spindle pedals…
