The 10spd shimano with the 11spd sram works great. It shifts better than the full sram 11spd I had on it before this. The math adds up on cable pull, shift ratio, and cog pitch. The low gear has a slightly higher/”easier” ratio than a 32T ring to 50T cassette 12 spd. The high gear does lack some speed potential but with a few more RPMs it hasn’t let me down when on a trail or in the park.
