2018 Rocky Mountain Vertex Carbon 50 Size L **Price Drop (Used)

For sale is a very versatile carbon hardtail in excellent condition. Im selling so that I can upgrade to full suspension XC.

This is my secondary bike, mainly used for climbing on fireroads. The frame was heavily wrapped with a mix of helicopter & shelter tape, so its very well protected.

The bike is also very versatile, it can take both 29 & 27.5+ (w/ 2.8 tires) wheels. And easily upgradeable to 1x (all you need is just a bigger cassette & chainring). I wanted to upgrade to 1x, but I actually like the 2x system as it gives you more range.

The top tube has clear coat chip when I got the bike. Its underneath the helicopter tape

Upgrade:

Ive added PNW 100mm Coast Suspension dropper. This dropper post is unique where it is both a dropper and also provides 40mm tunable air suspension giving you extra cushion on bumpy road.
I will also include a used Sunrace CSMX8 11-46T cassette & a OneUp Switch 32T Round chainring. All you need to upgrade to 1x11 is just the $26 OneUp Carrier

Service:

The fork was just serviced last week and the bike was used 2x after to test it out.
Chain was replaced last year and still well below the 0.5 worn mark
Both brake pads was replaced last year.
Both brake fully bled last year as well.
