2018 Pivot Mach 5.5, L (Used)

Purchased new from my LBS. Dang nice ride. Still well impressed. Not riding it anywhere near its potential - if I ever had. Just not riding in anger, any more. Ive reverted to an older model of shorter/taller/steeper trail/enduro machine with less suspension. More playful riding. So here hangs the Pivot, getting nervous & weird. Like a trail-dog thats needs to get aired-out.

Other than the bikes first wetness - the bikes mostly been my fair-weather steed. Favor hardtail for the wetness. Not to say I dont EVER ride it in the wet - there are the occasional 2-3 day stretches of dang nice dryness (tacky with puddles, ya know?).

No dings. Normal wear. Actually - better than normal cuz its seen little winter use. A few little scratches that wont show up in images that I can capture. And one ratty old sticker on the top-tube.

This bike came as Pivots base level. Well specd. Comparable to todays Ride level, with upgrades. Frame is set up by Pivot for electronic shifting. Internal cable routing is secure and quiet. Components include…;

1. Fox 36 fork, Performance grade. Air preload. 3-stage compression. Rebound. Recently serviced.

2. Fox Float DPS Evol shock, performance grade. Air. 3-stage compression. Rebound.

3. GX Eagle 1x12 upgrade.

4. Sram, 10x50 cassette. Youll see a missing tooth on the big cog. No idea how. Cant detect any difference from having a full-set of teeth. Ive just ridden it & fogotten about it.

5. RF Aeffect crankset. 28T steel DM ring. Can toss in a 30T ring if you dont already have six. Alloy or steel.

6. Bottom Bracket is upgraded to Wheels Manufacturing alloy-cupped thread-together press-fit with Enduro bearings. Solid, silent, durable.

7. Fox Transfer 150 dropper. Internal routing. Performance grade. Recently serviced.

8. Shimano SLX two-piston brakes.. Strong. Modulate really well. Rotors are 203F & 180R.

9. SunRingle wheelset. Duroc 40 rims, laced to SRC hubs. 110/148 boost spacing. Easy to service. New Enduro bearings in both. OEM HG driver, included

10. 27x2.6 DHFs front & rear. Well used. Will need new sharp tires before riding in anger or during the wetness.

11. Egon seat - mens narrow

12. Rogue grips. ODI 2-clamp units.

13. Down-tube bash-guards re-taped. Used Gorilla-brand 2-sided tape. Holding up well.

14. OneUp composite pedals.

Sorry about the images of a dirty bike. Not much for blasting water all over my bikes to keep them all shiny. Save it for fresh heavy accumulations. Have kept the chain clean & oiled, sliding parts wiped-down, cables just a teensy bit greasy, pivots serviced, wheels true & balanced, yada. What you see in the images - is how this bike lives.
