2018 Large Nicolai Ion G16 (Longest Geometron) Frame (Used)

Have you always been jealous of bus drivers? Do you think that the incremental annual progression of long-low-slack is way too slow? Did the grim donut get you a little hot and bothered? Does a metal bike forged by german dwarves in a mountain cavern using the flames of the all-father to temper the 7020-T6 alloy cause you to leap to attention? Are you quite tall, and have never found a bike that is really too long?

If youre 6 like me, you can ride it surprisingly comfortably, but I bet it would work for some of the giraffes out there also. The reach is equivalent to most brands xxl, but also equivalent to the Grim Donut medium, and that means its faster than your current bike.

The straight, uninterrupted seat tube allows for long droppers, and at 6 with roughly 33 inseam I could run a 210mm one-up dropper with it slammed in the frame, so theres tons of room to move around on the descent.

Extremely nice frame construction, very well thought out, with all the little clever details to make it easy to work on at home.

Threaded BB, external cable routing tucked in on top of the down-tube with nice little bolt on plates to hold everything down.

Bearings are double shielded, and require nearly zero maintenance except for the Horst link bearings, which will require a refresh every couple of years riding in the winter in the PNW.

You can put in a long shock, and bump the rear travel to 165mm or 175mm. Rated for a DC fork, too.

Its also possible to toss 29 wheels in the rear if youre so inclined and have a 29 fork lying around and build up a true modern monster truck.

Can add Fox X2 for $250. Can add a longer one for an additional $250 for 175mm travel.

Frame pics look a bit grubby, but its mostly the edges of the tape where the glue has gathered a bit of dust. The only significant marks are on the chainstay, but are merely cosmetic.
