Description:
Purchased in December, 2018. This is my go-to fatbike for daily riding in the Central Valley and especially on its sandy terrain. I take this bike up to the snow in the Sierras as well. I recently purchased a more “progressive” fatbike and want to sell this. The bike’s geo is XC (70.5 deg HTA) so it’s a wondrous ascender, but not the best descender. The frame’s geo is on LaMere’s site (this is the 190/197 V2 frame currently selling for $2200).
The components:
Carbon frame, touted as one of, if not the, lightest fatty frames (carbon fork) with ability to hold two water bottles
Internal cable routing
LaMere (very) light carbon rims
27.5 x 4.5 Bontrager Gnarwhal studdable tires (very good tread left)
I9 Torch fatty hubs 3 degrees of engagement with the buzz
TA rear axle and 135 QR front
Shimano Deore XT 4-piston brakes with Shimano Ice rotors (180 front and 160 rear). A few months old.
SQ lab carbon handlebar (760mm) I can’t recall the upsweep nor the backsweep angles
Syntac stem 30mm with a few degs of rise (can’t recall)
Cane creek headset (I’ve replaced the cap with WT, but original Cane Creek will be included)
WT dropper level
PNW Rainier V3 125mm adjustable dropper. A few months old.
WTB volt saddle (142mm). A few months old.
WT Mega Fat grips. A few months old.
SRAM Eagle GX drivetrain (52T) with WT 28T chainring. Drivetrain is a few months old.
Crank booties
Shimano pedals
Granite spare inner tube holder (matching green) with 27.5 inner tube
Wren V1 inverted fat fork (110mm travel) included and in great condition. I’ve switched back and forth with the rigid carbon fork several times.
Downtube rubber protector
The Lizard Skin I’ve place on the frame has been strategic in order to abort any damage and/or paint scuffs. The only damage to the frame is on the left seat tube stay. It’s been there for several years and it’s wrapped for protection. It’s a somewhat wide scratch/rub and has never been of a concern nor compromise of the frame’s structural integrity. I checked with LaMere himself and he wasn’t concerned with it.
