2018 Bianchi Methanol SX 29 (Used)

Available is a lightly used Bianchi Methanol SX 29 hardtail. Overall condition is very good (used primarily on paved cycling paths and the odd gravel road) with one paint chip in the downtube as a result from storage. This bike has seen more road riding than trails recently tuned up. The frame size is a Large though is suitable for rider heights 168 cm to 180 cm. Components comprise of both Shimano XT and SLX with a Rock Shox Reba fork. I still have the original alloy seatpost but upgraded to a Specialized CG-R Carbon seatpost for added comfort ($250). The carbon frame is top notch both in ride quality and durability, a very robust design unlike some of the current offerings. New the price was close to $6K.

• Asymmetrical Rear Stays: Optimized rear stays design to obtain a very compact and reactive rear triangle without sacrificing the chainline clearance. It fits different chainrings combinations and it is optimized to improve power transmission on the drive side. This design also offers increased power reactivity and pedalling performance

• ERC - Embedded Reinforcement Construction: Reinforcement carbon ribs are embedded into the main tubes profiles. The increased torsional stiffness of the head tube and the Bottom Bracket area and the crank-frame interface becomes stronger
