Description:
LOWERED FROM $2500, THIS IS A CRAZY GOOD DEAL FOR A TOP OF THE LINE ENDURO RIG THAT STILL HAS AMAZING GEOMETRY AHEAD OF ITS TIME. PRICE IS FIRM. ENTIRE BIKE COULD USE SERVICING BUT THIS IS STILL A KILLER PRICE
UPDATE: rear suspension play has been minimized, replaced part of the lower shock bushing to an updated design that gives better fit, but the frame specific bushings are supposed to be epoxied into the frame and would require an entire new front frame replacement. I may try different temporary techniques like Teflon tape to keep it in place to remove 99% of the play. Will update
Brakes rub, otherwise very rideable. Rest of description is in more details
The only current problem is there’s play in the rear suspension, the bottom shock connection has worn out spacers/bushings that I’m tryna find replacements for. The cassette is pretty worn but still got some life left according to a very dentist-y shop tech friend. So its probably good for some miles to go.
Brand new SRAM chain, I went with a lower end model it’s heavier but this is an enduro bike and durability is huge for me. Brand new chainring, again a heavier/cheaper one, steel and all black unlike pictured, it looks amazing with the frame, definitely heavier but the original was causing issues and this shouldn’t wear out so fast. Both tires have a decent amount of sealant, the rear sealant is only a month old with brand new rim tape and a replaced spoke. Wheels are pretty true, zero rim dents, lotsa scuffs scratches and paint chips along the entire bike though. She looks purdy but especially around the chain stays there’s some pretty big chips. No actual carbon damage or really even showing though so I’d still trust it 100%. Everyone comments on how fudging plush this rig is, really the Goldilocks of bikes with the geo, crazy fun rig that can send it down steep chunky stuff and still navigate tight single track. Wasn’t even last in an XC race lol. Hanger is brand new, gears aren’t perfect but it’s pretty good. Both shocks could probably use a service but honestly they feel insanely better than anything I’ve ever tried, trust me, this bike is a monster. Really sad to sell but never getting close to using all the travel around here in the Low Country.
