2017 Surly Karate Monkey SS 29er, size M (Used)

Lightly used, well-loved, well-maintained Surly Karate Monkey. This is a fully rigid 29er, single-speed, size Medium / 18 frame. This model year was a dedicated single-speed, not a conversion. I am the first owner, purchased new from Landrys in June 2018. This was equipped and used exclusively as a city commuter bike since first purchase. Always stored indoors, at home and at work. Maintained regularly (multiple times per year) by Landrys.

For those not familiar, this is one of Surlys ultra-adaptable frames. Braze-ons pretty much everywhere you could possibly need them. Ready for racks, trailers, fenders, you name it. I made the following modifications from the stock build:

Swapped out 17 tooth rear cog for 13t. This was a more appropriate gearing ratio for city riding. I still have the 17t cog if you intend to use for mountain biking.
Added Planet Bike Cascadia black fenders, front and rear. I will remove if you dont want them.
Installed Azonic flat pedals. I will remove if you dont want them.
Added a LED light strip to the rear fender as a fun science project and for visibility on the road. It pulses through all colors and, frankly, is awesome. It does require the waterproof black and grey box mounted to the seatpost (houses the Arduino board) and holder for the battery pack (currently the saddle bag shown). Both of these shown in the last photo. Again, Ill remove if you dont want them.
Added a Velcro-mounted Kryptonite chain holder for a Kryptonite Keeper 785.
Swapped for shorter bars with minimal rise.
