• Full carbon frame, size XL, 2017. The frame has a few paint chips and scratches but overall the bike is in excellent shape. Even on the rear triangle near the tire, where these bikes can have issues, this one is in great shape. Some of the scratches have been touched up with Evil touch up paint.

• Black Chris King hubs with Stans Flow MK3 rims and DT Swiss spokes (Amazing wheelset, effectively maintenance free, near instant engagement in the hubs and the rims are very easy to use as a tubeless setup)

• SRAM 12 speed GX drivetrain with an Eagle oil slick chain that has been hot waxed with a beeswax / PTFE powder blend (lasts hundreds of miles without needing attention)

• Shimano XT brakes with 180mm rotors

• PNW 170mm dropper + PNW Loam lever

• Brand new Evil bar & stem - aluminum

• Like new Maxxis Minion DHF front tire - 27.5 x 2.5” WT

• Like new Maxxis Aggressor rear tire - 27.5 x 2.5” WT

This bike is a blast to ride, super strong, great geometry and remarkably light at ~30lbs. The rear end on this bike inspires so much confidence: A Single pivot for the main pivot (the one that matters for stiffness), then some Dave Weagle “Delta System” magic in the linkage to make the bike soak up anything. There is a low and extra low setting for the rear end: I find that low works well for New England trails.

Reason for selling: I am 5’11” and fits OK but the bike is a bit bigger than I need on the trails I ride. It leads me to choose another bike over this one more often, so this Evil needs a new home!
