The frame is made with Cannondales High-Modulus carbon that they use to make their lightest, stiffest, fastest frames. Pair that to a Dura-Ace 9000 groupset for smooth and reliable shifting and braking in one of the lightest groups available. These are Shimanos highest tier of components to keep this ride top of the line. Rolls on a set of high end Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels as well that are lightweight, aero-spoked, and fast. Highest level of carbon, components, and wheels, bring this ride down to 15.0 lbs, WITH 28c tires. Meaning you still get a lot of comfort at that 15lb mark, or could swap to a smaller tires and easily make the 14lb range. This ride is a race winning machine.
