The lightest, best-pedaling 150mm trail bike I’ve ridden.
Super poppy and fun on jumps, stable in the jank, and I even placed 3rd in a cross country race!
Size: “Medium” - I’m 6 feet tall, and this bike works for me, but I’d prefer a size large. Better for someone roughly 5’10”
See pics for how my seat post is is raised 2 inches.
Frame:
Carbon main frame; aluminum rear triangle. Really light and stiff feeling.
150mm rear travel. I cleaned and lubed bushings and pivot bearings 6 months ago.
27.5 wheels. Minion DHF tires set up tubeless. Frame can clear a 2.6” tire.
Fits two 750ml water bottles (one on the underside of the downtube).
Fork:
X-Fusion Sweep. 160mm travel (but can be reduced to 150mm or 140mm).
Serviced last year to install a brand new Roughcut HLR damper (X-Fusion’s best).
(I also can throw in a spare fork with a broken RL2 damper).
Rear Shock:
X Fusion O2. Serviced 6 months ago. Probably the weakest component on the bike. Due to a design flaw, air migrates from the positive chamber to the negative chamber, eventually resulting in a harsh top-out. Expect to rebuild this shock once or twice a year, or replace it after this season. (Also the lockout never worked - but the bike pedals really well so I never missed it).
Drivetrain:
Sram X1 11 speed shifter, derailleur and cassette (10-42t). Raceface 32t chainring. Chain guide. Brand new cable and housing. Super crisp, bro.
Brakes:
Like new Sram G2 four-piston brakes. Taken off my new bike (I prefer Shimano brakes)
Dropper post:
X Fusion Manic - 125mm, 30.9mm. The saddle clamp is a little bent, and X Fusion sells replacements for $20, but there is no slippage so I never felt the need to replace.
35mm, 800mm wide Rocky Mountain handlebar and stem.
Flat VP pedals and hard, narrow saddle come with the bike.
I’m the second owner of this bike. The original owner won it in a raffle in Bellingham, WA.
Please message if interested. $2000. Local sale would be cool. I can drive to Albuquerque, or Salida, Co.
