2015 Lapierre XR529 (size Medium)
Top of the line model with Shimano xt groupset and possibly the only working (first gen) Rockshox E:i Electronic suspension system in the US.
To my knowledge, this is the ONLY working system left in the US, and likely the world.
Bike has about 40 off road miles on it (all at CRP), and was only ridden on the street before being put away by the original owner. Probably less that 100 miles on it total, although its hard to tell pavement mileage. Bike was given to me by an 80yo man who wanted a softer ride than his hybrid but was too short to comfortably ride this one.
The battery was sourced from Germany a few months ago but the original chargers are impossible to find (using a netgear router cable with the same voltage).
This is the most capable XC bike Ive ever ridden, and I still prefer it over my Transition enduro bike at CRP. Im 6ft tall and probably at the upper height limit. will fit down to 56 or so with the shorter seat post and flipped stem. Dont let the age fool you. This is the most capable xc bike youll find anywhere near this price, new or used.
100% stock except the taller carbon fiber seat post (factory easton post included in sale) including the factory lapierre bottle cage and foam grips. Rides and shifts 100% perfect. Could probably use new brake pads and a brake bleed as brakes are a little extra grabby.
Open to offers and potential trade for the right XC hardtail (Large frame size only) that will be used as a bikepacking rig. This bike would be perfect but the frame shape severely limits the amount of possible storage and the bike is too rare and in too good of condition to modify.
located in Bonita Springs but will travel throughout florida to meet half way. Id consider shipping but would prefer you see the bike in person as pictures dont do it justice. This bike is cool enough to display in a bike shop or in on the wall in your man cave.
