2010 Chromoly new 12 spd GX drivetrain GT 29er multi (Used)

This is CUSTOM built GT Peace 9er Multi 29in mountain bike. (Medium size! – see note below!)

FRAME:

REYNOLDS 520 butted frame tubes CHROME–MOLY (chromoly–steel frame).

Chromoly steel is the strongest material for its weight, and yes it’s obviously stronger than aluminum and carbon. It also practically doesn’t fatigue, so those bike can last for ever.

It’s important to point out that chromoly-steel frames are the most comfortable to ride too, and that counts specially when it comes to hard tails.

BUT this is not just any chromoly-steel, this is REYNOLDS chromoly-steel, which is the best chromoly in the world.

And let’s not forget that the whole bicycle invention began with Reynolds steel.

(Those bike frames are very versatile, so this bike can also be used as a road bike!)

This bike frame is medium size with seat tube length of almost 18in.

But those bikes were built with longer rich than the standard, with about 0.75-1 inch.(Basically the rich is one size bigger/longer.)

(Yes…, it seems like those GT bikes were built by today’s geometry standards of having a low and long bikes.)
