2005 Colnago Master with Campy Record 10 Sp Groupo (Used)

The frame and some of the components were purchased new in 2005. The frame is in good structural condition, though for the right owner, getting it refinished might be an option to pursue, and there are several top notch places to do it in Toronto. The frame is 57cm C-T and the paint scheme is referred to as LX10

The chrome on the rear triangle is good (no rust) though there are some scratches. The chrome on the head tube lugs is good on the top lug, though there is some rust on the lower lug on the non- drive side of the bike.

There are several scratches in the paint here and there, and one small dent in the centre of the top tube. Someone nocked the bike over into a metal door frame some years ago. A refinish would see the small V shaped dent filled.

The front fork is a Colnago carbon Street with a chrome molly steerer tube. It is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition.

Mechanically, the components on the bike are in excellent condition, and some of them are new, purchased this past spring. The hubs, front and rear detailers, shifters, callipers and head set are part of the 2005 groupo. The crank set (172.5mm) is from around 2008 and as such is an Ultra Torque, which is the current version. The bearings and outboard cups are new (purchased this past spring), as is the Record 10 speed chain, 12-25 Record cassette, Campagnolo cables and housing, shifter covers, brake pads and the inner, small chain ring. Pedals are Campagnolo Record Profit Plus (which will likely not be sold with the bike unless the buyer wants them.)

The rims were built up from NOS Campagnolo Delta Strada tubulars (circa late 1980s) around 2015. They are true and in excellent shape. The tires are Continental Sprinters. Seat post is Campagnolo Chorus titanium and the saddle is a classic, Selle San Marco Regal. If another saddle is requested, I have a Colnago branded contemporary Prologo saddle that is in excellent condition.

The handle bar is a new (purchased this past spring) Deda Superleggerra carbon bar (42cm) and and stem is also new, and is a Colnago Nemisis 110mm.

The bike comes with a new-in- box spare, 39 tooth Record 10 speed inner chain ring, new in box Record 10 speed chain and a spare, NOS Campagnolo Delta Strada rim.

In total, there are over $1000 worth of new parts on the bike including the cassette, chain, two inner chain rings, spare chain, new brake pads and shifter covers, cables and cable housing, handlebar and stem.
