1991 Specialized Deja Two Tandem 19/17 restomod (Used)

Gorgeous 1991 Specialized Deja Two Tandem. Frame size 19 front, 17 rear. Frame was USA built in 1991 by American Bicycle Manufacturing. Paint is a deep purple, with yellow logos. Id rate the paint 8/10 - its overall perfect, but has a few dings from storage and riding, and some chain chew from the old drivetrain dropping the chain. Original fork is in excellent condition.

I built this bike up to be a bar bouncer, gravel grinder, singletrack slayer, & first date deal closer. It looks great, gets a ton of comments, and was built with intent, function, and style in mind. She rides great, shifts smooth, stops fast, and sparkles in the sun. The ONLY flaw Ive found is that the tandem stem, which is a beautiful Japanese made slab of adjustable aluminum, sets the rear handlebars a tad crooked - which is annoying, but it was too pretty to replace with something else. It could also use a replacement tandem drivetrain, but the current one isnt stretched out, just old.
