We believe in transparency! Understanding the condition of a used bike is crucial. Every bike we sell undergoes a thorough inspection, and we categorize its condition to help you make an informed decision. Please also carefully review the detailed description and photos on each product page.

Our Condition Ratings Explained:

Excellent Condition

Like new or lightly ridden with minimal signs of wear. May have very minor cosmetic blemishes (small scuffs or scratches) that are difficult to notice. Mechanically sound, fully functional, and requires no immediate service.

Frame & Fork: No dents, cracks, or significant scratches. Paint is vibrant.
Components: Drivetrain, brakes, and suspension show very little wear.
Wheels & Tires: Wheels are true, tires have ample tread life remaining.

Good Condition

Shows normal signs of use consistent with its age and intended discipline. May have noticeable cosmetic scratches, scuffs, cable rub, or minor paint chips. Mechanically sound and fully functional, but some components may show moderate wear (e.g., drivetrain, tires, grips) but still have usable life remaining.

Frame & Fork: May have cosmetic scratches/scuffs, but no structural damage (dents or cracks).
Components: Drivetrain shifts well, brakes function properly, suspension is operational. Components show wear but are functional.
Wheels & Tires: Wheels are reasonably true. Tires have moderate tread remaining.

Fair Condition

Shows significant signs of use and cosmetic wear, such as noticeable scratches, scuffs, paint chips, and potentially minor, non-structural dents. Mechanically sound and rideable, but may require service or component replacement sooner rather than later. Ideal for riders looking for a project or the best possible value who don't mind cosmetic imperfections.

Frame & Fork: Will have noticeable cosmetic blemishes, potentially small dents, but no cracks or structural issues compromising safety.
Components: Functional, but may show significant wear. May benefit from a tune-up or component replacement (e.g., chain, cassette, brake pads, tires) in the near future. Suspension may require service.
Wheels & Tires: May have minor wobbles but are rideable. Tires may have limited tread life remaining.
